The accessible toilets and the car park, with provision of shade trees, is a pleasant place to park, and a site for activity at times when it has traditionally been empty. Car boot sales, car and motor cycle meet-ups, garage bands and busking occur in this space from time to time.
The Plaza has a higher profile signaled by new façade, improved access and shade structure at the rear and prominent signage at the main entry. It is friendly and there is a new sense of activity as new businesses located in the basement create increased foot traffic. Small entrepreneurs vie for this space.
