CBD Connection:
Fitzroy and Victoria
Streets
The
connection between Fitzroy Street
and Victoria Street
encourages foot traffic across town and together with other enhancements
supports browsing, greater dwell times and increased business opportunity. It
should be noted that the exact location of the connection will be defined as
the opportunity is further explored with local property owners and businesses.

Experience
People frequently leave their
cars and make their way to the CBD through the walkway that weaves through the major town blocks, between
Fitzroy Street and Victoria Street.
This is a place to meet
friends and sit away from the main street bustle. Designed for pedestrians it
is safe for children. An outdoor gallery provides local interest and this space
is often requested as a space to showcase local street art. Small sculptures
tell a town story and engage residents and visitors alike.
